Seyi Vibez, whose real name is Balogun Afolabi Oluwaloseyi (born 12 July 2000), is a Nigerian singer and songwriter who has made a significant impact on the music scene. He is best known for his hit single “Chance (Na Ham)” from his second studio album “Billion Dollar Baby”, which made it to No. 19 on the UK Afrobeats singles chart and peaked at number 7 on the TurnTable Top 100 chart.

- Seyi Vibez was born in Ketu, Lagos State, and later moved to Ikorodu, where he spent most of his formative years.
- He made his debut in the music industry in 2019 with his single “Anybody”. However, it was his 2021 single “Godsent” that brought him into the limelight.
- His debut studio album “No Seyi No Vibez (NSNV)” was released in 2021, followed by his second studio album “Billion Dollar Baby” and the mixtape “Billion Dollar Baby 2.0” in 2022. The album reached number 1 on the Turntable 50 albums chart.
- In 2023, Seyi Vibez released his 5-track debut Extended Play (EP), “Memory Card”, featuring American rapper YXNG K.A. The EP garnered over 6.30 million streams in its first week and dominated the Turntable top 10 chart.
Personal Life
- Seyi Vibez experienced a significant personal loss in March 2 023 when his mother passed away. He shared the news on his Instagram page, describing it as the “darkest day” of his life.
- Seyi Vibez was involved in a public dispute with fellow Nigerian artist Zinoleesky. The feud started when Zinoleesky advised Seyi Vibez to revert to his previous musical style and suggested improvements for his studio. Seyi Vibez responded by urging Zinoleesky to refrain from speaking until he could afford a new house.
