Gina Nadira Miller (born 19 April 1965), known as Gina Miller, is a Guyanese-British businesswoman and activist who hails from British Guiana. She is renowned for initiating the 2016 R (Miller) v Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union court case against the British government over its authority to implement Brexit without approval from Parliament.

• She is the daughter of Doodnauth Singh, who served as Attorney General of Guyana.

• Miller attended the girls’ boarding school, Roedean, in Brighton, East Sussex.

• Gina Miller started her career in marketing and event management, working with brands like BMW and Esso.
• In 2006, she co-founded the investment firm SCM Private (now SCM Direct) with her husband, Alan Miller.
• She has been a vocal critic of poor transparency and high fees in the investment industry, leading her to launch the True and Fair Campaign in 2012.
• Miller gained prominence in 2016 when she initiated the R (Miller) v Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union court case. She argued that the UK government could not trigger Article 50 of the Treaty on European Union without parliamentary approval. The Supreme Court ruled in her favor in 2017.
